Mumu From Our Past

This was taken by Day Cabuhat, Pupil's manager hours before the Eraserheads Reunion concert.

It brought chills to my spine just seeing them together in one place. Our HS band played most of their songs and even Sister Mary Tarcila reprimanded me for singing and strumming Alapaap on the guitar while lurking at the back of the auditorium (I didn't attend first Friday mass that time, e nakahuli pa of all people si Principal!), who cares? I was getting the chords right that time! It was the year of Ateneo & Claret fair, Jose Sixto Dantes III's pre-Allerin days and Atom Araullo, well he looked just the same back then, only a few centimeters shorter and several decibels higher. A year where Giordano classic t-shirts ruled (a minimum of 5 different colors should be owned), Trapper Keepers with Devon Sawa pinups instead of lecture notes and all-boys school yearbooks replaced our textbooks.

Enough said. I quote from Bab (The resident hippie of Pugad Baboy): Humahaba na ang long hair ko....
